Philosophy

The AAPT is dedicated to the advancement of the art of teaching philosophy.

The American Philosophical Association promotes the discipline and profession of philosophy, both within the academy and in the public arena. The APA supports the professional development of philosophers at all levels and works to foster greater understanding and appreciation of the value of philosophical inquiry.

APPA is a non-profit educational corporation that encourages philosophical awareness and advocates leading the examined life. APPA members apply philosophical systems, insights and methods to the management of human problems and the amelioration of human estates.

The Philosophy of Education Society is committed to providing a welcoming conference experience for everyone. Members of the Society recognize a shared responsibility to create and sustain a positive environment for the benefit of all and will not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form.

The Royal Institute of Philosophy is a charity dedicated to the advancement of philosophy through the organisation and promotion of teaching, discussion and research of all things philosophical. The Institute is not committed to any particular philosophical school or method or, of course, any ideology.

The Society of Philosophers in America (SOPHIA) is an educational nonprofit membership and chapter organization dedicated to building communities of philosophical conversation.
