Worldcat Discovery is the John F. Moss Library's online catalog. It's a great place to start your research. It will assist you in quickly locating relevant resources on your subject with having to decide which database(s) to search. You can save time and limit search results by date range, format, subject, full text, and scholarly designation such as peer-reviewed articles.
You can also email yourself search results through the "Share" feature and cite a source directly from the results.
1. Search for the resource you want to find in WorldCat Discovery. If TAMUT does not have the resource, try again, but choose the "Libraries Worldwide" option in the "Held by Library" section on the left side of the results screen.
2. Once you find the resource you would like to use, click on the title and then the "check availability" button. That will reveal the "Request Item through Interlibrary Loan" button.
3. Fill out the form, making sure that you complete all required fields. A librarian will process your request. You can generally expect to receive a print resource within 7-10 days of your request. Electronic resources are usually loaned within 48 hours of the request.
You can also locate the Interlibrary Loan Request Form on the Library homepage.
