A.Library staff are using gloves to pull items, and all returned items will be disinfected, or quarantined for one week, between use.
Curbside Pickup, as well as UC pickup options are available to limit contact -- these options can be used without entering the library itself. Staff will wear gloves when handing off items.
You can place holds through the library catalog, and staff will contact you to coordinate check-out/pick-up option.
A. You can submit documents for the library to print for you, then come pick them up from our 3rd Floor screening desk without even coming into the library! You can also request a curbside pickup for your printed documents. (Please wear a mask when interacting with the library staff member who is providing you curbside service.)
Make a printing appointment to submit your print request. You will be notified via email as soon as your print is ready to pick up.
You cannot print from a personal or university laptops unless you have installed the Horizon Client (instructions in files), but can schedule a print job if your are not a student or do not have the client installed.
The cost of your printing will be taken out of your printing account if funds are available. If your account does not have enough to cover the print request, you will need to remit payment online. For more information about this account, see our FAQ for printing in the library.
Yes! Reserve a spot ahead of time to help us ensure safety.
You will check in at our 3rd Floor service desk, and a library staff member will escort you to your reserved space. Desks and chairs have been moved to maintain safe distancing.
The library is carefully managing use of our spaces, as well as cleaning and sanitizing used spaces after students exit the library. Please maintain social distancing and wearing a mask while in the library.
There is no food or drink allowed in the computer lab.
